Tessie and Seamus Harkin with Seamus New Book  "It Took A LIFETIME"

Seamus Harkin and his wife Tessie (Wilkinson) have lived in the homestead at Cashelmore, Creeslough all their married life. They have four boyes James, Mark, Leo. Paul and one girl Edel. And and the grandchildren still counting three grandsons Finn, Jamie, Tommy and one Granddaughter Orlaith.

Seamus Harkin latest book  "It Took A LIFETIME."

This book tells the story of Seamus Harkin's life around Creeslough, Co. Donegal in rural Ireland from around the 1930-1940 when life was uncomplicated and the neighbours looked out for each other. A time when money and recession were seldom mentioned and self sufficiency was the norm. With his Music, Farming, The Electic Light, The Micro Chip and his many other prosuits right up to 2008.

                          is in the bussiness of Undertaking  at Derryart, Creeslough, Co. Donegal. But Seamus is a man of many tallents: Bussinessman, Farmer, Salesman, Singer, Songwriter, Poet, Author, Entertainer, Musician, Church Stewart, Church Chior, Eucharistic Minister, Minister of the Word, Doe Cementary Organiser, Storie Teller and more.
Seamus is/was involved in all the local organisations: St. Vincent DePaul, Legion of Mary, HSE. Housing, Creeslough Day Centre, Tidy Town, Muckish Cross, etc.
