2006/12/18 - THE AUSIE's are BACK
Thomas Hunter and Denis Sheridan from Ballyboes and Sean Boyle from
Feymore are back from Australia where they were working on construction
for the last year. They were living in Surfers Paradise on the Gold
Cost, Queensland. Last July they went on tour with Michael
Cox Ards (RIP) who was on a visit to Australia

NOVEMBER
2006/11/20 A Muckish Report
For the first time this year 20th of November,
Muckish is white with snow which lasted for three days, and the weather
is cold and wet. Last year on the same date Muckish had it first snow.

The St. Michaels Third Team competed in the Junior B
Championship losing out to Kilcar 0-9 to 1-11& 1-6 to 3-5.
2006/10/20 - Traffic Lights in
Creeslough There was two sets of traffic lights in
Creeslough this week between the corner of the garden an the Ballyboes
road. It would seem that they are digging up the street for the last three
month. First it was Charles Roarty redoing the sewer. Then: Surface Water,
Mains Water, ESB Lights, Eircom Cables and Traffic Calming where the
Donegal Co. Co. put the pavements out in the middle of the road.

SEPTEMBER
2006/9/24 - The 36th Ryder Cup
The Golf Classic held for the first time in Ireland at
the K. Club Co. Kildare. With Paul McGinley the St. Michael's
man, Padraig Harrington and Darren Clarke making up three Irishmen on the
European Team. Europe beating USA. by 18 1/2
to 9 1/2 points.

The Criminal Assets Bureau auctioned property in Creeslough and Faugher
belonging to Sean Dunne the missing Dublin Businessman. The house at Magheroraty, Creeslough on a one acre site with
four en-suite bedrooms, Gym, Sauna and Jacuzzi went for €360,000. The five houses
on four acres with planning
permission for a two storey house at Faugher went for
€750,000

Danny Neddie(McGinley) Killoughcarron was back home on his bi-annual trip from
Australia as was John Tague (McFadden) Killoughcarron at the same time.
Danny and John immigrated at the same time from London to Australia where they were working 32 years ago.
