2010/04/10- Iceland Volcano

All flights in and out of Airports in Ireland England Scotland and most of Europe were shutdown for the last week as a result of the ash cloud from the Volcano near Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland. Aer Lingus has a back log of 6000 flights. The height of the ash plume reached 28000 feet.

2010/03/10- Eircom

Urgent Work this pole at the Owenwee Bridge on the Creeslough to Carrigart road was replaced after the original pole was broken two month ago. (where was Inspector Pello)

Micheal McGinley captain of St. Michael U21 team who won the  Donegal U21 County Final over  Naomh Conaill.

Naomh Michael (St. Michaels) 0 -13  v   0 - 6 Naomh Conaill (Glenties).

JANUARY (Fanair)

2010/1/31- A Muckish Report

Not for the first time this year 31 of January 2010, Muckish is white with snow in fact since 17/12/2009 Muckish has was covered with snow apart for two days. The roads and the lakes are continually freezing at night since the first snow.

Now 03/03/2010 snow still on Muckish.
